  • The Goodyear Engineered Products Spirathane HD blue polyurethane bulk material hose is suitable for a variety of abrasive material-handling transfer applications, and consists of a tube made of RMA Class B (medium oil resistance) polyurethane for resistance to oil and improved resistance to abrasion; and a cover made of high-density, low-temperature blue Pliovic (PVC, polyvinyl chloride) for low-temperature flexibility and resistance to abrasion. The tube experiences a maximum volume change of +65% and retains a minimum of 50% of its tensile strength after exposure to oil. It is reinforced with a high-density, rigid Pliovic (PVC) helix for the strength to reach its maximum working pressure rating and its full vacuum rating of 29" Hg. It can withstand temperatures ranging from 0 to +158 degrees F (-18 to +70 degrees C), and can be used with a variety of coupling options (not included). This hose is suitable for a wide range of commercial, industrial, and agricultural abrasive material-handling applications.
